I'm dense but here's what I've got: After the first track, Covert Discretion, in which Gener comes clean to his shortcomings, he threatens war against his four former bandmates in verse one, the English and Western stallion and Roman and Greco soldiers. A hard fought war that will only bring blood and sweat (no tears). Verse two foreshadows what could be if they were to converge as one again: no tears, just blood and sweat. A manifestation of how much Ween kicks ass. That's what I've got. Am I talking crazy pills? If it means nothing like that, it's still an excellent song. |
