i have read so many comments about the line: "like us in time, it lies bit can't stand up" but i can't believe that no one - NO ONE - has stated the obvious: the line isn't "like us in time". it's "like a centime" with pronunciation as poor as can be expected from the american lou reed. he is describing a coin that cannot be balanced on its edge. sheesh. |
