| I haven't seen anyone state this, but a definintion of autonomy is "free from external control." So basically self control or self government. "I want you autonomy" is most likely referring to the want of many punks in the day of wanting to be free from modern government and do what they want. "It's a thing that worth having" "Buys you your life sir" expand on this thought by expressing how freedom is worth it. "It leaves us all wondering and it should" people relating to this song wonder what it'd be like in the punk rock fantasy. "This awkward something for the good" maybe it's awkward because it isn't the norm we are all used to, and how this would be the best for such an expressive generation. | |
