This reminds me so much of a situation I had in psychiatry. There was a boy and a girl who obviously liked eachother. But whenever he made a step towards her she took a step back. Eventually he gave it up, because she was not giving him any signs that she wanted this too when In reality she just never learned how to show emotions and feelings and was just protecting herself from pain. |
