Massive Attack – Butterfly Caught Lyrics 7 years ago
This album is pretty much all done by Robert Del Naja and it was written and composed during a time in his career when he was very engaged in political protests. It's focused on the wrongs of the world: war, violence, the way the big corporations rule the world, reckless science/research, sexism, etc.

This song is clearly about domination and evil. It has some wicked and dark sexual tone that suggests rape or pedophilia, but I guess it can be interpreted in a more broad sense.

The relationship between the moth (the helpless insect) and the evil man that is sucking its life (played by Robert) is clearly stated in the final take: he is looking directly at the dying moth all the time. Like said before, the fact that he takes the patterns of the moth/butterfly suggests he's sucking it from the insect. He seems to be [sexually] pleased from its suffering. The "keep smiling for me" line makes it really frightening...

Bauhaus – Third Uncle Lyrics 8 years ago
@[tetsuo29:22620] Looks pretty accurate to me. One small correction: later in the song, when the first stanza is repeated, verses 5 and 6 are changed to:

"There was wrong
There was right"

You've put them in the wrong order above.
