It isn't 100% clear but she is singing about a lost love (maybe someone who died?) but basically that their absence hurts and a lot of poetic language related to that. The song is too much about pain for me to think that is just a lost love as in someone who is not with you anymore (like a break-up or divorce), it sounds more like someone died. To clarify the name "In Assenza Di Te" means in absence of you. |
