This song perfectly sums up my love life. I dated many women until I found the one (well, hopefully she is!) and experienced love of a magnitude that's incomparable to anything I experienced in past relationships (that is deep, true and real love if you will). When you experience that you really feel many of the feelings expressed in the song: "Can make the young boys stay a while" - wanting to be around her for longer "Like I'll never be alone again" - when your soul connects you feel she has your best interests at heart and so she's on your mind all the time "You took all that I'm fearing and turned all my skies to blue" - the vanquishing of those grey clouds of doubt you'll ever find true love "And you are some kind of beautiful" - he really means she's beautiful on a different level because of the way she makes him feel And I guess "gotta take a chance running after somebody" is about having to take the risk and put yourself in a position of vulnerability to find that special someone. |
