Will like to complement on the second verse: "In the end Everyone ends up alone Losing her The only one who's ever known Who I am, who I'm not, and who I wanna be No way to know How long she will be next to me" I think "her" might be talking about wisdom. Wisdom is within us and it is certainly the only that truly knows "who you are", "who you've been", "who you want to be". Wisdom is also how Christ can talk to us. So within his struggle, the singer "finds Christ " through "wisdom" speaking to him, yet he knows he might loose wisdom again (taking another road). |

@[alf0509:22418] Just a great interpretation... I felt exactly the same way about the song, glad many of us agree with such point of view. Will like to complement on the second verse: "In the end Everyone ends up alone Losing her The only one who's ever known Who I am, who I'm not, and who I wanna be No way to know How long she will be next to me" I think "her" might be talking about wisdom. So within his struggle, the singer "finds Christ " through "wisdom" speaking to him, yet he knows he might loose wisdom again (taking another road). Just a quick thought. |
