I agree this is pretty much what the song is all about.. and I just want to add, people ask what is up with the "day" she said "goodnight" (Why not "night" she said "goodnight" right? You don't say goodnight on daytime right?), Well my interpretation to it is that he and the girl might have been staying up all night talking to each other, up until morning light, and like when it hits around 3-5AM, technically it's already a new "day", right?. And maybe that's the time the girl says goodnight to him when she is about to sleep. Hope you get the point. | |
