I do feel this about the government hiding and lieing and controlling But I think it's more about soldiers fighting wars for a cause they were lied about. Coming home with the blood on their hands for what. Trying to go back to normal life is not so easy and not so easy to forget the people you have lost or hurt Asking to be forgiven and wondering if a soldier doesn't die in battle where do they go to rest. |

If we all have forgotten, this band lost a member too young. Not only a co worker but a best friend and really a brother. So I'm sure most of their music has a double meaning so as to not bore us with the same story. So since their white album they have sort of kept each album to a theme in a sense and this one has a lot of futuristic, bigger then what's right in front of you attitude bc they are at that point in the grieving process. Trying to accept we all die and knowing the life / world / space is lighter then the fucked up BS here. So I will be glad to be with u someday. I think this song is actually more from the Revs point of view. Gone a million miles And waiting for his friends to join him in the stars. |
