| I woke up one morning, was smoking a cigarette, & this song came on Xm. Never having heard it before, & pretty much disliking everything tha first time. I hear it. I listened very intently, and before the song was over, tears were streaming down my face. Never have my thoughts, & feelings, & emotions ever been captured so eloquently. Im as of fri 8/4/17 199 days clean of opiates, after 10+ years. And im struggling with trying to find where, & if i still am able to fit into my bestfriend of 18 yrs, if i fit in that World, that also ,happens to be my Wife of 13 yrs. She quit a yr & a week before i did. She felt i wasnt going to ever stop, cuz i said i wouldnt. That along w other things pushd her to explore, other things. Shes changed, some good, some bad. As have i. This song reprepresents, the Anger, the Hatred, the LUV, the Bitterness, the Want, the Passion, the Need, the Lust, it Encompasses all those things, & so,much more. It represents the Ripped, Tattered, Exhausted, Confused, Depressed, Scared, Bloody Shell. Thats left! . After these 20yrs, of the FUKIN!!Best!, & FUKIN!! Worst! times, ever in my whole Life. | |
