As well in the Vietnam war it was an ingredient used in napalm so it would stick to the soldiers skin, torturing them with a burn nearly inextinguishable. I still feel the line, " I couldn't change though I wanted to" has a reference to addiction and the sound and undertone of a relationship torn apart or destroyed by addition. A simple opinion. | |
