I see this as tillians initiation to the dgd way of thinking "level up his brain in the fast lane". There seems to be a theme in jon mess's lyrics that I would like to call conscience release, i started noticing it on the self titled album. When kurt travis was singing about love and relationships, jon was basically saying he is above it by saying he chooses not to give a fuck, he fucks whoever. Tillian was clealy going through some self doubt and he is taking will and jon's advice "I take a bow Listen to the crowd My survival is all I think about now". Survival meaning not being beat up by heavy weighing emotions. This song is pretty cool, their basically showing him how to evolve past lowly human, self induced hell and into thriving. |
