@[AaronXIII:21935] - scuse me Aaron but shouldn't that be I thinks? Just kidding. I love this song, their other songs too. They are poetic musical geniuses. It kind of reminds me of Iron Maiden Moon Child: Seven deadly sins, seven ways to win, seven holy paths to hell, and your trip begins Seven downward slopes seven bloodied hopes seven are your burning fires, seven your desires... Awesome. I think Iron Maiden lyrics are scarier, and this band is more positive. I love their other songs like I want out, livin' ain't no crime, I think these lyrics are influenced from religion, same with a lot of Iron Maiden lyrics I guess. I think it's about the Apocalypse too. I like reading about different cultures stories about the Apicalypse, like Ragnorok from pagan Northern Europe. A big war before the end then there are a new heavens and new earth. That's the only one I've read about besides the Bible but I like all that kind of lore and prophetic stuff from different cultures. Seems like a lot if heavy metal lyrics are like that, especially this band, Iron Maiden. I think these bands use to get a bad wrap people saying alll their lyrics are evil and they ar Satan worshippers, and they don't even know what they are singing about. |
