| The Dear Hunter – A Beginning Lyrics | 8 years ago |
| This is the end of the line for The Dear Hunter, as he drowns himself in the river to escape the mob and drowns. In this song, he is thinking about the afterlife, and the song picks up when he begins to think of heaven and seeing the ones he loves again, however it is implied at the end of the song that, in this story, there is no afterlife, as a sound plays (which can only be believed to be the boy's life flashing before his eyes before he dies) followed by just the sound of water with a somber piano tune that had been heard various times throughout the series (mainly in act II), implying that the boy had drowned, and is now dead. | |
