| This song has angelic powers. One extremely hot night, my dog (Maltese-poodle mix) was clearly suffering from the effects of heat stroke. I had Sirius XM's Yacht Rock Radio on in the background as the AC was on full blast and Cool Night came on. Within minutes, he was back to his old self again. Thank you Paul Davis for your heavenly gift on behalf of Charlie the Maltipoo. To this day, he wags his tail to the blissful rhythm when I play his favorite summer jam. Because of the raw, magnetic emotional power of this song that I have felt firsthand, I'd say Paul's invitation to the female muse was well-received on that particular fall night.
