The missing lyrics I believe are "oh lord, to crumble quite, watching from the silence. It seems to me to be about living with and trying to climb out of the depths of hell that is addiction. My husband is a recovering alcoholic/ addict. He put him whole heart mind and soul into climbing out of that hole and is doing wonderful! However we lost one our our oldest friends today to addiction. The lyrics seem so fitting to the struggle my husband had to endure to get where he is today. It's a constant struggle and a life long commitment but he's dedicated whole heartedly to beating this disease. Our friend wasn't so lucky. |
