Cage the Elephant – Ain't No Rest For The Wicked Lyrics 8 years ago
The way the song resonates most with me is:

The wicked are suffering more than you and me. Instead of their actions generating fear and hate, we should listen to why they're doing what they're doing. If their desire is to slow down and rest but cannot because of their circumstances, we should sympathize and try to help. If not, the wicked and us living with fear and hate cannot rest until we close our eyes for good (die).

Rag'n'Bone Man – Human Lyrics 8 years ago
I think this song can get surprisingly deep depending on how it’s interpreted. At first, I was thinking it was a final plea to someone the singer has tried to help, but it could also be an introspective way the singer is dealing with his guilt, the blame his ego puts on himself, and his desire to be perfect and do more.

My interpretation:

"I'm only human
I'm only, I'm only
I'm only human, human"

Singer is reiterating this in his head before getting ready to make a final plea to someone he’s been trying to help.

"Maybe I'm foolish
Maybe I'm blind
Thinking I can see through this
And see what's behind
Got no way to prove it
So maybe I'm blind"

You can think I’m foolish or can’t see your problem. Since you can’t explain this I don’t have a clear view and am blind to it.

"But I'm only human after all
I'm only human after all
Don't put your blame on me
Don't put your blame on me"

I already tried to help, it didn’t help and I’m sick of getting blamed

"Take a look in the mirror
And what do you see
Do you see it clearer
Or are you deceived
In what you believe"

You need to do a deeper self-assessment to figure out your problem. Or are you too caught up to see that the problem has to do with yourself and not me?

"'Cause I'm only human after all
You're only human after all
Don't put the blame on me
Don't put your blame on me"

(notice it’s the first time the singer say you’re only human and your blame)
We’re both not perfect. Put your blame on yourself instead of deflecting it onto me.

"Some people got the real problems
Some people out of luck
Some people think I can solve them
Lord heavens above"

Everyone is coming to me to solve their own problems. God why?!

"I'm only human
I make mistakes
I'm only human
That's all it takes
To put the blame on me
Don't put the blame on me"

You expect me to be perfect.

"I'm no prophet or Messiah
Should go looking somewhere higher"

I’m not your savior. Turn to God for your help.
