I think the song is about 2 people who started spending time together cause they were lonley. And they were something like friends but with time passing by they became more closer and started doing stuff that couples do, like cuddling and sleeping together, but they didn't kiss or have sex. They fell in love and with some reason they didn't became lovers but they wanted to. Perhaps they were afraid of being vulnerable. |
