The LOGICAL explanation for this song is found in the various meanings of the phrase "where eagles dare", like the meaning; to be so ambitious as to lack hubris. To challange the Gods themselves (or maybe Fascists?), like Icaros. Or simply; eagles fly at an altitude where no other bird can go, and they try and get even higher (as to challange the Gods themselves?). And Nazi Germany was the jumping of the shark for Fascism which is built out of hubris. Fascists still live and people punishes, dislike different, and likewise, is the modern fascist! Everything was over the top, grandiose and bullshitty... Seeing themselves as Gods or acting like they did. Misifts will always be the flag ship of Anti-Social behaviour in this Society and for all time. Because Anti-Social is a good trait in a world of fascism! |
