@[jedwards:21554] This! This is the exact meaning I get from the song, of two people who have loved one another so deeply over many years. The first person has cried so many tears over the years of a deep, strong, loving relationship that just couldn't work. When the other person "tastes" the answers, yes they finally understand truly what the first person had suffered through, and still, they hadn't been able to make the pain stop. The other person finally feels a taste of the pain they've caused the first person, but it may or may not be enough to change. Whether they reunite or separate, it doesn't matter, they finally have resolution and can move forward. In my personal experience, we went our separate ways but the love is still there, we love one another deeply.... that didn't go away, but the hurting of one another stopped. |
