Great song, I suppose the "you" could be a person who has betrayed you/used you in life, but I also considered the "you" was a metaphor for drugs. Drugs are that relationship that "builds a cage for me". |

Hauntingly prophetic, "Before we Disppear" is a song about sharing ones love with those people/persons we love the most be we "disappear". Life is short, I think many of us can related to this one when we anticipate our end, yet have someone out there we love dearly.
I've read the song was written/released only 5 months before Chris would commit suicide. |
