Ok, first things first, I've listened to this song so many times. It's simply astounding and beautiful. I believe this song means, (in my eyes)that someone is waiting for something to happen or come but know that it won't happen. My connection to this song is like my dad for instance, I waited and waited for him to come back in my life and then I realized my dreams don't always come true. So then I saw that I was wasting my time and tears on this person that can make me feel so loved but also make me feel a lot of emotional pain. It's just my opinion though. It's a great song! |

In my view, this song talks about how this person (man) thought the relationship he was in was perfectly fine until he realized the other person wasn't happy at all. He just wants to continue to be with this person for his own good. "I don't wanna talk about it I don't wanna listen all that much, Is it falling apart?" This lyric here pretty much explains that he rather not talk things out or listen to how the other person feels in the relationship. That's why he assumes that maybe it's falling apart. I mean this is just my opinion on it. |
