| @[lilk9too:21334] I think she's a girl who was always raised to be a certain way but she hates it. She was always raised very classily but she's more of a tomboy. When it says "she pulls her hair back as she screams "I don't really want to be a queen", she's finally having an outburst towards her parents and telling them: this isn't what she wants. | |

I personally think that this song is about a girl who was always raised one way but she hates it and wants to escape it. Her parents always raised her as a girly-girl when that's not what she's like at all. "She doesn't own a dress, her hair is always a mess If you catch her stealin', she won't confess She's beautiful, she smokes a pack a day, wait that's me, but anyway She doesn't care a thing about that, hey She thinks I'm beautiful. Meet Virginia She never compromises, loves babies and surprises Wears hi-heels when she exercises Ain't that beautiful Meet Virginia" She was always taught that classy girls are supposed to always want to have babies and wear high-heels. "Well she wants to be the Queen Then she thinks about her scene Pulls her hair back as she screams I don't really wanna be the queen" Her parents raised her to want to be a queen and always want the best and she finally bursts out saying that's not what she wants at all. "Her daddy wrestles alligators, Mama works on carburetors Her brother is a fine mediator for the President Well here she is again on the phone just like me hates to be alone We just sit at home, and rip on the president Meet Virginia Well she wants to live her life Then she thinks about her life Pulls her hair back as she screams I don't really wanna live this life" Her parents encouraged her and her brother to find better lives than they did but that's not what she wants. She's content with what she has. The rest of the song is just her telling her parents that they're asking her to be someone she's not. "I can't wait to meet Virginia" means that she can't wait to find out who she truly is a break free from the mold her parents tried to put her in. |

| @[Jessa_05:21308] I disagree. The very first line of the song is "She doesn't own a dress". It would be impossible to be a drag queen without a dress. I think she's just someone who was always raised to be a certain way and she hates it. She's fighting to get out and escape the norm. | |
