| This song is a subtle act of repentance for pursuing success at any cost. The video shows several people running in the dead of night, with various modes of dress but all characterized by desperation. We see a (probable) drug addict, a scantily dressed woman running from someone (something), another woman in business attire obviously frazzled from running on the treadmill. Paying the price of pursuit of career, money, pleasure at the same time asking God to overlook the frantic pursuit -- that is what I see in this great video and song. | |
