This song went out to my first love. After 5yrs together then 9yrs of not talking, I decided this year that im ready to be friends. Although i never got closure from him, i did welcome him back into my life. I am now married and very happy with the man of my dreams. When this album came out I was going thru the roughest break up of my life, with my first love!! Once it was all said and done i would cry every time i heard this song. Its been 9yrs and i just started a friendship with that ex this year. Im happily married now but I still get emotional when I hear this song. It reminds me of the biggest heartbreak in my life. |
