Cake Bake Betty – 64 Little White Things Lyrics 8 years ago
This song, at least to me, is undoubtly about CSA. (Child Sexual Abuse)
Cannibalism is often used as a metaphor for CSA, and this song is just another one of those metaphors. It sounds like a story from a little girl who was abandoned or sold to a group who sexually abused her. "You can wash their fingers, but they never leave" sounds exactly like some sort of CSA, along with "You can bite your tongue, but it turns them on" all the way up to "they'll pinch at your sides, and make you recite brilliant songs about the symphony." Possibly meaning her abusers made her talk positively about the experiences she had after they were done with her each time. She might be singing about how she hates the world around her because nobody is helping or noticing her abuse. The final verse might be about her finally dying or her abuse getting much worse.
