It's about expecting too much out of a guy, it doesn't mean it isn't love but it's a different kind. But through her point of view it wasn't right, and in the song personally I hear a sexual type thing. Hence the lyrics "it didn't fit, it wasn't right, wasn't just the size." I'm assuming through these words shes going through a process of comprehending what feeling she might expirence through sex with someone she believes she's in love with, the world would "spin" and it would be just them. I've only had that expirence with one guy and no others nonetheless, so maybe Katy is insinuating for her, her first time wasn't her fix and it wasn't with the one. Because it should be magical, at least that's how everyone makes it out to be. |
