| Been watching a lot of Garbage live performances lately. One time Shirley calls the song "My Lover's Fanny", another time she says "Indelicately titled my Lover's Box". Until recently I always thought the "box" from the title referenced the "box" in the first verse. That box where she keeps her "lover's charms". Maybe Shirley Manson wasn't aware that "box" is a slang term for "vagina", at least in the US? Or maybe the title really DOES mean "My Lover's Vagina", lol. | |

Well, it's not hard to guess that this song is about (oral) sex. "Are you ready to go deep down (whoohoo)" plus "And I might have to sort you out if you don't do it right". Not much room for interpretation there. ;) And what can I say? The way Shirley sings the chorus is just incredibly sexy. :) |
