(false stories = Trinity Doctrine (Colossians 1:15,16); Hellfire Doctrine; Imortality of the "soul" - or something that survives after death. (Ecclesiates 9:5,10, Isaiah 26:14) "Bring me all your treasures" = Tithing or a tenth was under Mosaic law which we are no longer under. Requiring donations for salvation is not a Bible teaching and negates the sacrifice that Jesus made (Colossians 2:13, 14; Ephesians 2:13-15; Hebrews 7:5, 18). A christian gives out of love not obligation (2 Corinthians 9:7). "Kneel in front of the man who was sent by god" = Even the Apostle Peter refused this type of treatment because all Glory belongs to God. (Acts 10:22-26) |
