They feel lost figuring out how to navigate through the the rest of their life. This person is calling out for a sign from God, they feel they need God to wipe away their memories of youth. They believe that this is what will make them feel secure in their waning life. They dont want to wait or sort out their feelings, they impulsively need God to wipe away all of their pain and regret. ``` Cuz I get lost Need a god Help me put my world in order ``` This person is realizing they have felt this way before and is might have become aware that they are living with consequences for impulsively acting upon these feelings. ``` I don't wanna know the truth I conceive a better way to lie I just need feel secure again ``` This person is realizing how they turned to impulsive behavior in order to hide from the growing feeling that they are wasting their life solidifying their deepest fears (dying insignificant). They are asking God to magically sort out all of the mistakes in their past and put them onto a timeline where they are famous, accomplished, and important. They dont care about the afterlife, their imagination can paint beautiful pictures of heaven, they just want to feel as though they are accomplished now. ``` The witnesses evaded Codify my wasted youth Everywhere I look I feel the weight ``` Everywhere they go they see people's accomplishments and cant bear to be reminded how much of a waste of life they are. ``` We crave a greater existence, survive Attainable, modified purpose I'm part of the pack Citizen of the world ``` Everyone wants to be special, they want to be famous or of historical significance. Yet most of us are just surviving. It is attainable, because some people are famous/historical, this person wants their purpose to be rearranged so that they are significant, not just a regular person in society. ``` I know a guy, somewhere, whose got a guy, from town, whose knows a guy, from around, whose gotta die I called my sister’s, cousin, uncle, friend, made sure to trust them time and time again ``` This person feels as though they can only accomplish things by relying on others. ``` Oh no he said a bad word We should burn him at the stake, desecrate his name, spit on him from high horses exaggerate the shame ``` This is a reference to how in times of little revolution that people are lead to turn against each other and create 'drama'. They will do anything they can to fuel the fire in a pack mentality they will shame a person and look down on them making them feel isolated and insignificant (Look at the internet and media). This meaningless feeling person looking back at an event that played out like this in their past and was ostracized so bad that it lead to their self destructive behavior. ``` The group is never ending The group grew from decay The group is darkness father Heaven selected the truth as pain ``` The group/pack/society will never end. This person is seeing the darkness in society and how it grows on the shoulders of the less accomplished and the less fortunate. This person believes that the pain they feel, their meaninglessness and insignificance, is the truth that everyone in life hides from, painting pictures of heaven telling each other they are important when they are not. |
