Both Slash and Izzy have said that Axle wrote this in their session in Chicago when Axl's marriage to Erin Everly was being annulled. Not surprising since the word "estranged" is often used by lawyers when petitioning divorce or separation. He probably was inspired by the words from a legal document. |
