for me this song is about hiding your real feelings to blend with society....with me its mental illness...i've suffered with anxiety for many years and maybe i've tried too blend in too much in my life ....and when you blend in too much and not show your true feelings then this is very damaging....hence the lyrics drape yourself in greenery etc......its all about metaphors like many bsp songs....and mostly they will use nature as a metaphor for the subject they are singing about.....and this metaphor can be interpreted into many different things....mine happens to be my mental health and my detachment from society,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,i love this band and feel thy should get more recognition for their art |
