Ozark Mountain Daredevils – Jackie Blue Lyrics 8 years ago
I believe this song describes a woman with Borderline Personality Disorder. Nearly all of the verses seem to give this away.

"Hides a smile when she's wearin' a frown
Ooh, Jackie you're not so down"

Typical of borderlines to always 'frown' at life, but happy inside because this victimhood makes them the center of attention.

"Don't try to tell me that you're not aware
Of what you're doing and that you don't care
You say it's easy, just a natural thing
Like playing music, but you never sing"

Borderlines always dismiss their behavior, mind games, etc by 'projecting', 'gaslighting' and 'compartmentalizing'. They never take responsibility for their actions.

"Makes you think that her life is a drag
Ooh Jackie, what fun you have had"

Puts on the 'act' of being a victim and completely enjoys the attention that she is getting and her manipulations of those around her.

This is a brilliantly written song with haunting guitar chords that seem to probe this serious mental illness.
