| I think this song is about the person being in a relationship with a narcissist or sociopath who was so great and promised so many things at the beginning of the relationship then changed their personality and feelings later on. That's why he wonders if she ever did love him...because narcissists do that at the beginning, then change on a dime as if the person doesn't mean shit to them anymore. Been there done that and this song is a dead ringer for it. | |
