| Am I the only one who thinks this song might be about an abortion? She's pregnant, while she's sleeping the "problem will stay" and then the abortion is scheduled, so maybe that's the accident that's planned today. Saying goodbye to the life we won't spend together could be realizing they're never gonna get married and have a family and all of that. The chorus about him saying he wishes it wasn't true could be that he doesn't want her to get an abortion, but that's just how it's gonna happen. And then the abortion happens and it's neither of their problems. I guess this could be reading too much into it, but as soon as I heard the "accidents happen" line I started thinking about this. | |
