Haha omg I'm only 20 years late in writing this but anyhow....Tal was asked about this sing & he said it was about a girl he had a crush on in school. There is no "hidden" meaning, the words mean exactly what it says NOT that she's "chemically high" like on Meth like 2 people suggest...SO STUPID!). I know he's Randy Bachman's son from the Canadian band Bachman-Turner Overdrive (or BTO as we called it back in the 70's & 80's) The fact that a LOT of Tal's music had a Beetles vibe to it makes sense bc they had a huge influence in his dad's later writings/songs! Just revisited this song after hearing a "best of 90's songs" and had forgotten all about it.....it is SUCH an AMAZING song, simple & pure with an upbeat & happy feeling to it. God I LOVE his voice! I love it probably even more then I did back when it was popular & the music video is funny, sweet and great! |

I'm not a big fan of this song but if you like this you'll love "More" by the Shivers....it seems to be about a man who lost his love through death and she either died in the water or spread her ashes over the water...it literally DID give me....shivers!! (Yep. ..haha, I DID just go there lol) |
