@[tailarjohnson:19350] I think that's a good interpretation. The song struck a chord with me and I interpreted it as the darkness representing depression and the singer is reflecting on how it makes them hurt and push away those around him but wants to do better to be happy with his love so as not to let his darkness grab hold of her too. The verse that stood out the most to me was the whole sixth stanza. "And although I stab chaotically, It hurts no one but me" |
