I think the song is about bullies who shadow you where you go. The reference in the song My shadow's the only one that walks beside me makes think of that meaning. The song could also refer to someone not been able to escape his past and that it follows him like a shadow wherever he goes. Double and triple meanings all over the place, just a great song. |

@[Patrick1204:19219] Fish is a genius who has influenced me a lot in just letting loose when writing. Visiting places in the mind never thought possible or too scary to go. In my opinion this song has to do with the theme of the movie Angel Heart. The model made a pact with the devil for fortune and fame but one day forgot who made her what she became. Listen to the song again with this note in mind. It will blow you away. |
