I believe this is about a mentally unstable man who snaps one day and goes to jail. This man plays Russian Roulette every day, most likely because he is suicidal as well. The man tells us he got a gun from Sako (who's probably a friend/acquaintance of his) and remarks about how concealable it is. He goes on to tell us that his girl[friend] lashes out at him sometimes, and he "fucking kick[s] her" and that she's "ok" afterwards, probably because he knocked her unconscious. Now, he goes on to say about how he sits "In [his] desolate room, no lights, no music." I see this as a jail cell, because he goes on to say that he killed everyone. He killed his family and obviously was taken to jail by the cops. He is unsure how to feel, but these feelings go away either because he has come to terms with a life in jail, or he simply offed himself. As for the rest of the lyrics, I simply don't know. I like to think that SOAD has a meaning for them and the rest of the song, but this is just how I see it. However, this song FUCKING ROCKS! |

I personally think this song is about a paranoid/insane man who is convinced the world and everyone in it is out to get him. This is why he says "everyone else is an asshole". Also, one day he snaps and attacks someone, hence the lyrics "They call it Assault, but it wasn't my fault". |
