@[BlackLemonade:47423] I agree with you 100 percent with one small addition: I personally find the whole song still has an undertone that seems downright divine. Maybe that's where the "golden light" comes from. So there is something more than the speaker says / sings. Either he prays to heaven for "redemption" or heaven answers him exactly on his request with this golden light on his request with that there is more.... I find as a supplement of the "golden light" this song fits quite wonderfully (WONDER!-fully) to it: "Khruangbin - Pelota" and "Isaac Delusion - Early Morning" PS. PS. I am so glad that there are more people who listen to such wonderful music and seem to feel the same way as I do. Let me tell you all, you are not alone if you are going through the dark right now. |

well there a many point of views. a woman having an affair with a married man...thinking "You can't go on Thinking nothing's wrong Who's gonna drive you home tonight". She loves the married man, but he will never be there for her in important situtions. She is alone. It also can mean: A prt of your parents died and now you as the grown up child thinks, who will take care for you like a father or a mother did before...? You have to clean up your life...live seriously...your "childhood" is over. |
