I know this song has been around for ages, but I just found it. Great job David Pirner. This has to be one of the best songs ever written. How he got at that feeling I know I've felt is amazing. I can't even tell you how much this song has helped me through some tough times. I sing it well and can really belt it out when I'm alone and need to just thoroughly feel that someone else understands this kind of deep emotion. I know some people may find this song depressing, but it so beautifully captures the longing for more. Well done David and Soul Asylum. Thanks. |
