Does anybody with a knowledge of history have thoughts on this song. There seem to be historical references but I'm not to. the second to last verse makes me think Caesar's assassination, but the rest of the song evokes populism/socialism |

I know this isn't what the songs about but there are striking parallels between this song and the A Song Of Ice And Fire novels. They share plenty of imagery ( night and daybreak, long awaited plans, unfulfilled desires, intergenerational bonds and unrequited love) just wondering if im the only one whosaw it |
