Hi to everyone, I'm new in here I let's see how it goes since English is not my first language: I've read interpretations related with tombstones and death. The first time I heard the song this is what came to my mind: The song reflects the feeling of Vedder about the humanity and our lost sense of belonging to the nature. How we are destroying other lives and putting in risk our own existence. I've always thought that when he says "She don't wander in here" and the "garden of stone" he means Nature was expelled from our modern way of living, our cities, our comunities, our minds and our hearts What do you guys think? |
