Sorry but some of you are completely wrong. The song is definitely about a relationship. To sum it up breifly, my guess is he loves this girl, she loves him even more, but because of his lifestyle (traveling, cheating) there's a problem with their relationship. He is more open minded and wants it to work but she isn't as open minded. He forms in the wet sand and she doesn't. The 'wet sand' is a metaphor for their life, situation, and relationship. I could elaborate on other lyrics but that sums it up very breifly. |
