I think this is really relevant even today, with the refugee crisis in Syria and also the segregation that the media is trying to create. Bob spoke of how there will be no more sweet talk from the 'pulpit', 'grimepit' and 'hypocrites'. Basically meaning that from the bottom (grimepit) to the top (pulpit) everyone is a hypocrite. Its about making up our own minds about situations and not being pulled into a politcal debate about human life. |
