Behemoth – Alas, Lord Is Upon Me Lyrics 1 year ago
I see myself in this creation - Here's what I see in the very begining of the video - It's a very bad nightmare in a building where the worst of everything that could have hapenned - did happen. Yet you keep being forced to go back over and over and over again. The very first glimpse or thought of the building revives every tragedy encountered there.
I see the victim on the cart , being wheeled to some sort of twisted justice system. He's dressed in the clothes that he has on because he is a social outcast by nature. He looks up , or in the direction of The almighty with a gesture of disgust on his face. Like , " How can you let this happen god ? "
The cavalcade proceeds to wheel the cart while bystanders are laghing at the victim , while throwing shit at him as well. The ultimate destination of the victim is to a " Supreme tribunal " figure. That figure is actually a woman. She is very relaxed.
The victim is released from the cart whence the calavalcade gets to the house where the woman is. He is brought before her and given a chance to bring his testament before her. He opens his mouth , and only a swarm of bees come out. I think that that signifies pestilence. I'll be back later.

Dimmu Borgir – Progenies Of The Great Apocalypse Lyrics 8 years ago
I've once met a girl from Norway and she made it very clear that they don't like immigrants. I talked to her for a while and she pointed out that there is no trash in the streets , less corruption and more integrity amongst the civilians there. It is very expensive to live in Norway by the way.
Although I see a pentagram in the very beginning and a pentagram in the singers eye , I believe it to be more of a sign of rebellion in a very liberal way.
I'm a protestant and so are many Norwegian's. Protestism itself is a form of rebellion. We don't like things but remain quiet- because when you debate something you have people who like you and don't like you. Norway has always been neutral in my opinion- with world affairs and such.
There are many Scandinavians that think Americans are trashy or ghetto.
I think the same sometimes. There thoughts are along the lines of-once you've been here long enough to aquire traits from outside influences-it's hard to cross that bridge to be better and be reformed , and live in their standards.
But yeah I'm reading this and I'm getting the impression that they want The Vikings to come back and fuck shit up. They were the undisputed prodigy of warfare. They were also very ghastly. It's in there blood to do so and they are saying it well in the lyrics. I'm thinking that they want to make sure that Scandinavian pure blood never disappears.( Interbreeding) I've also heard that personally. I love this song and it gives me inspiration to be superb. I want to put it on my Facebook but I'll be judged as posting Heresy. You know what? Fuck it. I'm a Norwegian American and I celebrate my roots and my God given free will. I talked to the guitarist online and he is cool as shit. "When the first is last and the last is first-you will be where you choose to be." "Dimmu Borgir Dimmu Borgir"
Forces of the Northern light says it all.
The Sacrilegious Scorn is a little to much for me-The Baphomet and burning the cross. That's definitely Satanic. I've went through a stage like in the beginning of the video when they burn the cross. To me it's about putting a feeble false pretence in the face of something that is threating your life. I've had an argument with a fellow Christian who was an M.M.A. fighter and I was trying to explain to him-imagine being in the ring and not defending yourself. Sometimes you have to because people are fucked up.
The Serpatine Offering is obviously about the crusades. There were six and sorry to say-religious folk were as bad as The Vikings-pillaging and killing.
I love this bands energy and style-and the combination of metal and an orchestra. I heard that there is a new album coming out and they've hired an orchestra for it already.
Nothing wrong with this video-except the drum player with blood on him who looks like he wants to kill people.
Hailz to Dimmu Borgir and hail to the motherland.
