| @[rattler02:17956] This. This song is about the love between a father and daughter. I loved this song the first time I heard it. Fast forward a few years in life and I am now a father. I've always felt the inference that the girl is an intimate relationship was a bit too obvious. And really there is no reference to intimacy in the song, unless I am incredibly obtuse. Now whenever I hear this song, it brings a tear to my eye because I think of my four year old daughter (first born) who will crush my heart when she goes. More than once, no doubt. | |
