My interpretation of this song is hope through exhaustion. The position of Corey's narration is powerful and I think most of us have felt those feelings of being physically and mentally wiped out. The meaning of the lyrics changes part way through - starting as "tired to care and I gotta go" relating to seeing no way to carry on, but ending up as a positive.. closing the door and moving forwards to what's important. |

I see this as yet another relationship song. It's a good pop rock track, but I don't see it as anything more than someone fighting the inner strife of being dumped (or possibly cheated on) and believing the ex partner isn't hurting too. |
