Seth literally said the whole underdark album is about dungeons and dragons, and while looking at all the lyrics from this frame of mind they all make sense, I do still believe he wrote such.. beautiful lyrics.. to have many meanings pulled from them. |

I like to think about this song from the angle of the title. "The answer", as if all the lyrics are a response to something. The ending makes it apparent that it's about a failed relationship though. Great band, wish their name wasn't so stupid so I could find stuff about them online easier. |

@[Beeno:19349] 7 years late but thought I'd share my thoughts just in case you're still around. I like the original better for the Kurt vongurt spoken word part at the beginning. Hearing that read during that song has changed my whole perspective on life just because it's this whole thing about human awareness and souk then goes on to sing about how ones soul can be affected so much by another human being. |

Dudes, anyone kmow why song 3 and this have the same lyrics in them at the one point "I've written a thousand pages.." until the "it was so beautiful" part? Best song on the first album imo, whole 2nd album is amazing too but this first one hits this bone within me.. Let's call it soul |
